Troy Davis

Troy Davis is the Director of Bands at Aragon High School in San Mateo, California. He is also the Music Director of the Oakland Municipal Band and has served as a guest conductor with many summer music programs. He earned his Master’s Degree in music education from Notre Dame de Namur University and his Bachelor of Music in oboe performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. In addition to teaching and conducting, he freelances around the San Francisco Bay Area as a woodwind player and has performed with many celebrated artists and ensembles including Robin Williams, The Drifters, Michael Tilson Thomas, and the San Francisco Symphony. He has traveled extensively and performed in some of the world's greatest concert halls, including the Sydney Opera House, Amsterdam's Concertgebouw, the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, and on the Great Wall of China. Mr. Davis is listed in the Marquis' "Who’s Who in America".
