Shawn Hofmann is currently the Band Director for the Ridgway Area School District in Ridgway, PA. Duties include directing all Bands Grades 4-12, Marching Band and Middle and High School Jazz Bands.
Mr. Hofmann earned his Bachelor of Music in Music Education from West Virginia University in 1996 and a Master of Music in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music in 2006.
Mr. Hofmann has also held positions in the Kane Area School District, Kane, PA where he taught Middle School Bands and General Music and positions in Georgetown County South Carolina where he taught General Music for grades K-6.
Mr. Hofmann has adopted an “Everyday Everyway” approach to being superior as musicians and human beings from his mentor, Mr. David Willson and is committed to bringing the same high quality band program to rural school districts that are available in more affluent metropolitan areas through mentorship and collaboration.
