Nona Marie Collver teaches music for Grand Rapids Public Schools in Michigan where she and her students are given free reign. Her favorite principal, Lorenzo Bradshaw of Campus School, and Superintendent Dr. Bernard Taylor encourage and support Nona's elaborate musical ideas. After growing up mostly in California and New York, Nona received her Bachelor of Music from the University of Michigan in 1990 and her Masters of the Arts in Curriculum & Teaching degree from Michigan State University in 2000. She strives to help all of her students shine through performance.
