Mark has been with the Barrington, Rhode Island school district for 17 years and has taught music in Grades K-8, currently teaching at the K-3 level. A graduate of Berklee College of Music (1992) Mark brings his performance background and a unique, fun and caring approach to all his classes. Aside from his daily teaching schedule, Mark still performs as a drummer professionally with The Drifters, The Coasters, The Platters, as well as freelance work in and around New England.

Mark and Tracey Vadnais have two beautiful daughters and they love to eat sushi and ski in New Hampshire!
