Louine Gagnon

Louine Gagnon grew up in Terryville, CT and graduated from Western Connecticut State University in 1980 with a B.S. in music education. She earned an additional K-8 Elementary classroom certificate from Central Connecticut State University and began her teaching career as a regular classroom teacher. She found the opportunity to teach music in Gardiner, Maine where she was High School Choral Director. She was nominated by the Gardiner Area High School staff as teacher of the year. Louine now teaches upper elementary classroom music in Bath, Maine, where she also maintains a 125-member grades 3-4-5 volunteer elementary chorus. Next year she is looking forward to teaching chorus at the Bath Middle School. Louine lives in Woolwich, Maine with her husband Robert and daughter Ann Marie.
