Curt Ebersole

Curt Ebersole has served as Director of Instrumental Music at Northern Valley Regional High School (Old Tappan, NJ) since 1982, and as Conductor/Music Director of the Westchester Symphonic Winds (Tarrytown, NY) since 2008. He has gained recognition for his school’s Prism Concerts, a local rite of spring, and award-winning musical theater program. His efforts promote continuing education for conductors through the MEBCI Wind Conducting Symposium he founded in 1987. His achievements have included solo/ensemble performances as clarinetist and basset hornist, guest conducting engagements throughout the northeast and Busan, South Korea, and as clinician at the 2009 Midwest International Band & Orchestra Clinic. Other distinctions include school and county Teacher of the Year, NJ Master Music Teacher, and NJ Governor Arts in Education Awards. He is proud to share this honor from Yale with his fellow alumni from Northwestern University, former teachers, colleagues, and members of his ensembles, past and present.
