Camille Rabon 

Appomattox, VA

Camille Rabon is presently the band director for Appomattox County Middle and High Schools in Appomattox, Virginia. Before taking this position in 2004, she served as elementary music teacher for the county for two years. Her teaching career began in 1998 in Chesnee, South Carolina, where she taught band, beginning orchestra, and general music for Chesnee Middle and High Schools.

Rabon earned her Bachelors of Music in music education from Furman University in 1998 and completed a Masters of Business Administration at Gardner-Webb University in 2001. She has recently completed her Licensure in Educational Leadership at Longwood University. In addition, she taught economics for Southside Virginia Community College from 2001 to 2005. Professionally, her greatest love is her band students. She takes great delight in seeing her students achieve musically both as a band and as individuals. She and her husband, Sam, have a two-year-old son, Seth.
