Angela Griffin holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of South Florida, a Master’s Degree from The Hartt School, and has completed the University of Connecticut program for Educational Leadership. Ms. Griffin currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Griffin has extensive experience as a performing artist and as a professional flutist. She has performed with various local performing organizations including the Hartford Symphony Orchestra and the New Britain Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Griffin has previously been employed as an instructor for the Ethel Walker School, the Loomis Chaffee School, and the Hartt Community Division. Ms. Griffin was the former K-12 Music Curriculum Program Coordinator and elementary band director for the South Windsor Public school district. Ms. Griffin is committed to quality musical experiences for all children.
