Welcome to the website of composer Jordan Kuspa.

Please look, listen, and enjoy!

Just announced: Jordan has joined the artistic team of the Dallas Neo-Classical Ballet as Composer-in-Residence! In this capacity he will produce new works for dance, advise choreographers on musical issues, and liaise with local musicians in order to facilitate dance performances with live music.

Ian Rosenbaum recently performed Lemonade Toccata on the biennial TUTTI Festival at Denison University in Granville, Ohio. Check out a cool profile and video montage of the festival here: http://www.denison.edu/theden/2015/03/tutti-all-together/

Some of Jordan's current projects include a work for powerhouse new music ensemble loadbang, a new half-hour ballet score for the Dallas Neo-Classical Ballet, a new piano trio for the 2015 Duo Scordatura Commissioned Project, and a collaboration with violist Brett Deubner on a concerto for viola and orchestra.

Jordan is currently pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the Yale School of Music. His teachers at Yale have included Martin Bresnick, Aaron Jay Kernis, Ezra Laderman, Ingram Marshall, and Christopher Theofanidis. Jordan serves on the faculty at Richland College in Dallas, TX, where he teaches composition, music theory, and cello, and directs the string orchestra.
